FOR YOUR GRAMMY® CONSIDERATION

BEST GLOBAL MUSIC PERFORMANCE
A bilingual meditation on love as a private solar system, MZE (pronounced Mzeh and meaning sun in Georgian) carries Georgian language and folk expression into a contemporary orbit of dream pop, blues and jazz. Memory, desire, goodbye and rebirth retain their own gravity inside one luminous performance.

BEST ALTERNATIVE MUSIC PERFORMANCE
Broken Waters explores the moment attraction begins to fracture psychologically, when surface beauty quietly unravels underneath. Ethereal vocals, acoustic guitar, Georgian folk inspired percussion and EWI shape a meditative alternative sound in which NAINNOH finds beauty and healing within collapse.

GEORGIAN-AMERICAN SINGER-SONGWRITER • FILM SCORE COMPOSER • POET • MULTI-INSTRUMENTALIST
Born in the country of Georgia and based in New York City, NAINNOH is a singer-songwriter whose genre-fluid, experimental work brings atmospheric folk, dream pop, psychedelia, jazz, poetry, and cinematic sound into an unconventional musical dialogue. Classically trained in piano and solfeggio from childhood, she began writing songs at eleven and later earned a degree in psychology.
Her Georgian roots, psychology, mysticism, and cosmology converge in a musical language distinctly her own. Her 2021 debut album explored identity, mortality, freedom, and transformation. She has completed her second album, which is expected to be released soon. Inspired by cellular and psychological renewal, it follows a seven-year cycle of transformation. BROKEN WATERS and MZE offer the first glimpse into that work. Her music has received praise from publications in the United States and Europe.
NYSCA award-winning composer and producer with an MFA from Yale School of Drama and Broadway credits including Torch Song, Meteor Shower and Three Tall Women.
Internationally acclaimed multi-instrumentalist heard on more than 300 albums, with credits including Whitney Houston, Carlos Santana, Herbie Hancock, Ravi Shankar and Sting.
John Davis is a GRAMMY-winning mix engineer and producer. His passion for electronic experimentation and acoustic sound has given him a distinctive place in contemporary music. Across rock, electronic, jazz, pop, and classical recordings, he brings precision and imagination to each mix while preserving the artist’s vision.
Chris Gehringer is a Latin GRAMMY-winning mastering engineer at Sterling Sound with 22 GRAMMY nominations. His work spans pop, rock, jazz, and experimental music, bringing an experienced ear to artists with very different sounds. He is known for preserving the character of a recording while giving it clarity and impact.
